Upcoming Events

Water Bills

Begins: 1/1/2026 - 8:00 A.M.
Ends: 12/31/2026

Water bills are mailed out on the 1st business day of every month. 

Payments are due on the 1st, 10% late charge is issued on the 17th for all unpaid bills and the final day to pay is the 25th of every month.

Non-payment fees will be added to all unpaid accounts on the following business day and services will be disconnected at noon on the 2nd business day following the 25th of the month.

Failure to receive a bill does not waive fees. Contact city hall for your balance if you have not received a bill.

City employees cannot change the rules and regulations set forth by the city council. To discuss the rules and regulations please attend the city council meeting held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Interfaith Food Pantry

The local churches provide a food pantry for anyone in need. The dates of service are listed below.

Council Meeting Reminder

Begins: 1/12/2026 - 7:00 PM
Ends: 12/31/2026 - 9:00 PM

Just a friendly reminder -City of Well's Council Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month @ 7:00 P.M. 

  • We will be posting all of the special meetings on the bulletin board located in the city hall as they are announced. Paper copies of all agendas are also available at city hall.
  • Anytime a meeting is canceled a post will be made on the website. 
  • Anyone visiting the meeting is required to sign in. 
  • Anyone that would like to be placed on the official agenda should contact the city hall before 11:00 a.m. on Friday before the city council meeting.
  • Anyone can speak at the meeting if they arrive at city hall 15 minutes prior to the meeting to sign up for a 3 minute speaking slot.
  • Everyone is welcome to attend the regular and special council meetings. 

Spring Clean-Up Weekend

Ends: 3/8/2026 - 5:00 pm

Mark your calendar & gather your stuff for the City of Wells Spring Clean-Up

 Only customers who are currently on the City of Wells utility services are eligible to use the dumpsters.

 Proof of active service will be required.  Help Show Pride in Our Community

 Customers may bring their bulk trash items to the dumpsters located behind City Hall.

 Saturday, March 7, 2025 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm & Sunday, March 8, 2025 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

 ****DO NOT OPEN THE CONTAINER DOORS****

Please make sure that all your trash goes into the dumpsters. Once the dumpsters are full, no trash is to be left on the ground.

 You may bring dried paint cans if the paint in the can is dry. (Use kitty litter to dry the paint)

ONLY THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE

No Brush of Any Type (Tree Limbs, Grass Clippings, Leaves)

No liquids of any type (Gas, Paint, Oil, Antifreeze, Freon, Etc.)

No Oil Filters

No Tires.

No Barrels or Anything Containing CFC's;

No Refrigerators/Air Conditioners

(Unless Certified All Of The Freon Is Drained)
