Water Bills
Begins: 5/1/2026 - 8:00 A.M.
Ends: 12/31/2026
Water bills are mailed out on the 1st business day of every month.
Payments are due on the 1st, 10% late charge is issued on the 17th for all unpaid bills and the final day to pay is the 25th of every month.
Non-payment fees will be added to all unpaid accounts on the following business day and services will be disconnected at noon on the 2nd business day following the 25th of the month.
Failure to receive a bill does not waive fees. Contact city hall for your balance if you have not received a bill.
City employees cannot change the rules and regulations set forth by the city council. To discuss the rules and regulations please attend the city council meeting held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Bench Trial
Begins: 5/6/2026 - 9:00 am
Ends: 11/18/2026 - 10:00 am
Bench Trial Hearings will be held for the traffic cases summoned by Judge Johnson. Only the defendants on the list will see the judge.

Council Meeting Reminder
Begins: 5/11/2026 - 7:00 PM
Ends: 12/31/2026 - 9:00 PM
Just a friendly reminder -City of Well's Council Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month @ 7:00 P.M.
- We will be posting all of the special meetings on the bulletin board located in the city hall as they are announced. Paper copies of all agendas are also available at city hall.
- Anytime a meeting is canceled a post will be made on the website.
- Anyone visiting the meeting is required to sign in.
- Anyone that would like to be placed on the official agenda should contact the city hall before 11:00 a.m. on Friday before the city council meeting.
- Anyone can speak at the meeting if they arrive at city hall 15 minutes prior to the meeting to sign up for a 3 minute speaking slot.
- Everyone is welcome to attend the regular and special council meetings.
Pretrial Hearing
Begins: 5/13/2026 - 9:00 am
Ends: 11/18/2026 - 12:00 pm
Pretrial Hearings will be conducted for all defendants on the list to contest their citation.
A summons has been mailed to the defendant on the summons list.

Final Notice Reporting
Begins: 5/14/2026 - 8:00 am
Ends: 12/17/2026 - 5:00 pm
Final Notice letters are mailed monthly to all defendants who have not taken care of their traffic ticket.
Failure to contact the court by the date listed at the bottom of your citation will result in a Violate Written Promise to Appear fine and a warrant issued for your arrest.
Once a warrant is issued, a hold will be placed on your license with the Texas Failure to Appear Program.
